Job Efficiency

Clearance:

  • Two (2) days for export shipment.
  • Three days for cargo originating from Mwl. J.K Nyerere International Airport.
  • Five days for local cargo from Dar port/ Inland container deports.
  • Three days for transit and transshipment (import) cargo from Dar port and airport respectively.

Condition:

To avoid storage, demurrage and customs warehouse rent documents for import cargo to be received at least & days prior to the arrival of the vessel so commencement of clearance process can be enhanced.

Please note that before lodging the document to get the assessment to pay export levy, will require the following documents, PYTO CERTIFICATE, CERTIFICATE OF ORIGINAL, RADIATION CERTIFICATE, EXPORT PERMIT FROM CASHEW BOARD, SHIPPING ORDER, INVOICE AND BUSINESS LICENSE FROM MTWARA MANICIPAL, all documents will be able to process for you, also for EXPORT PERMIT TO PROCESS will require to collect the PRODUCE DISPACH NOTE (PDN) FROM YOU.
